Refund & Cancellation Policy
This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms governing engagement cancellations, milestone withdrawals, and refund eligibility for consulting services provided by Optimum Technology Group LLC.
1. Cancellations Before Work Commences
A client may cancel a consulting engagement by providing written email notification prior to the scheduled project discovery kickoff or the commencement of technical review work. In such cases, the client is eligible for a refund of prepaid fees, less an administrative processing fee of 10% to cover onboarding and transaction processing overhead.
2. Cancellations After Work Has Commenced
Once technical assessment, discovery sessions, repository audits, or architectural drafting has commenced, payments are non-refundable. If an engagement is terminated by the client prior to deliverable completion, the client remains responsible for all work performed up to the termination date. Any completed work-in-progress artifacts will be delivered to the client as-is.
3. Refund Policy Per Package Tier
Engagements are categorized under milestone review stages according to the contracted technical tier:
Architecture Assessment ($500)
Non-refundable once initial repository access or technical interview materials have been reviewed.
Technical Architecture Blueprint ($1,500)
Cancellable prior to milestone approval; work completed in Phase 1 (Discovery & Assessment) will be billed at an hourly consulting rate, with any remaining unused balance refunded.
FinTech Product Architecture ($3,000) & Complete Enterprise Architecture ($5,000)
Governed by milestone deliverable phases set forth in the written Statement of Work. Fees allocated to approved milestone phases are strictly non-refundable.
4. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund
All cancellation and refund requests must be formally submitted in writing via email to OptimumTechnologyGroup@proton.me. Requests must state the client company name, invoice number, and explicit reasons for cancellation. Legitimate refund requests are processed within ten (10) business days via the original method of corporate payment.
